Quality

To maintain its market-leading position and support the continual improvement of the business, Smollan Headcount has established a Quality Policy and the following Quality of Service objectives:

  • To continue to design and develop market-leading services and solutions to serve customers
  • To carefully assess each customer’s requirements to understand the nature and scope of the customer’s business needs before considering which service or solution may best fit that need
  • To consistently provide services and solutions that fully meet or surpass the expectations of customers through service excellence
  • To measure and enhance customer satisfaction through the application of processes for continual improvement
  • To implement and maintain appropriate procedures, methods and standards which together form the core of the Smollan Headcount Integrated Management System (IMS) and which are designed to meet the combined requirements of three independently assessed, best practice international standards:
    • ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
    • ISO 27001 – Information Security Management Systems
    • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
  • To ensure that resources are committed, where necessary, to continuously achieve high quality
  • To monitor and improve the effectiveness of working practices to identify and correct problem areas by maintaining a Continuous Service Improvement Plan and annual Business Improvement Review Programme, including internal and external audits and assessments
  • To maintain strong relationships with suppliers to provide the breadth of service that customers need to make the business decisions that will bring them the greatest benefits and the greatest returns
  • To employ a professional staff of highly skilled people in customer services and internal support staff
  • To develop our employees
  • To maintain and enhance the IT infrastructure and IT Solutions
  • To ensure there is good management practice, including compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • To meet the objectives defined in our supplementary policies, e.g. for Information Security
  • To identify, manage and effectively implement policies and processes that affect the environmental sustainability of Headcount’s services and operations

Responsibility for implementing this policy lies with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), supported by the Smollan Headcount Senior Management Team who are jointly responsible for ensuring that it is clearly understood and followed by all employees. Each employee is responsible for ensuring that they are familiar with the IMS and that they apply it as appropriate.

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure that it continues to reflect the operations of the company and that it continues to comply with the requirements of all three applicable ISO standards.
